About The Badwater Ski-ters
The Badwater Ski-ters is a family-friendly nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the sport of water skiing. Our mission is to develop individual skills, foster teamwork, and create lasting friendships through engaging water ski shows. With members ranging in age from four to seventy-plus years old, we are truly fun for the whole family!
We are committed to enhancing skills, having fun, and actively engaging with the Borderland community and visitors alike. We aim to stimulate interest in water skiing, improve boating safety, and provide facilities that support our mission and benefit both our members and the community.
History of Excellence
For decades, the Badwater Ski-ters have built a tradition defined by excellence, grit, and showmanship. From a small-town lake to the biggest stages in the sport, our team has earned multiple Wisconsin State Championships and captured both state and national titles in team jump—one of the most demanding and electrifying events in waterskiing.
Our legacy extends far beyond team accolades. Badwater Ski-ters have produced national and international-level competitors, with many athletes advancing to perform in professional water ski shows across the globe.
